MC Rental, a leading truck hire specialist in the UK, has ordered 100 Mercedes-Benz Actros L tractor units equipped with the ProCabin. The first delivery is expected in May from Bell Truck and Van, with the remaining units to be delivered throughout the year. All 100 trucks will be Actros L 2553 models, powered by 390 kW (530 hp), 12.8-liter inline six-cylinder engines.
Key Features of the Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin
The ProCabin’s distinctive smooth front panel improves aerodynamics, potentially increasing fuel efficiency by up to 3%. The Giga ProCabins will be equipped with double bunks, heated seats, fridges, ambient lighting, and additional USB-C sockets in the side walls, enhancing driver comfort.

The Actros L ProCabin trucks incorporate several technological advancements to boost both efficiency and safety. These include:
