Car enthusiasts are invited to the ‘Meet the Beetles’ Volkswagen car show at the German American Heritage Center and Museum in Davenport on Saturday, May 8, at 10 a.m. The event will take place in the parking lot at 712 W. 2nd St.
The car show will feature classic Beetles, Westfalia vans, and kit cars, showcasing the history of one of Germany’s most iconic car brands. Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Visitors can also explore the museum’s permanent exhibition, ‘The German Immigrant Experience,’ along with two rotating exhibitions, all at no cost.
Food will be available for purchase on site, courtesy of the Lunchwagon. However, organizers note that the event may be canceled in case of bad weather.
