Mercedes-Benz Launches the All-New CLA with Revolutionary Features
Mercedes-Benz presented the all-new CLA at a spectacular event against Rome’s stunning evening skyline, introducing ‘the most intelligent car’ designed by the brand. The unveiling highlighted the model’s refined design, characterized by simplicity and intelligence.
The CLA’s interior boasts a minimalist design philosophy, emphasizing essential high-tech elements while minimizing visible structural components. The optional floating MBUX Superscreen spans the cabin’s width, integrating a 10.25-inch driver display, a 14-inch center display, and a 14-inch front passenger display behind a single glass panel. The floating center console features a three-dimensional trim surface with a double cup holder and an optional wireless charging cradle. The door center panels adopt a similar floating aesthetic, wrapping around tubular pull handles with contoured leather finishes.

Design innovations extend beyond physical attributes to software. The CLA will be the first vehicle to utilize Mercedes-Benz’s in-house Operating System (MB.OS), developed with AI capabilities and connected to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud. This system ensures constant connectivity and updates for functions like driver assistance.
The fourth-generation MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) is designed for maximum compatibility with third-party providers and enhanced personalization. It integrates AI technology from Microsoft and Google, offering an intuitive and familiar user experience inspired by mobile phones. The new MBUX Virtual Assistant, powered by generative AI, enables more natural driver-vehicle interaction. It incorporates ChatGPT-4o, Microsoft Bing, and Google Gemini, providing personalized responses on navigation and points of interest.

Ola Källenius, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Group, expressed his enthusiasm for the new CLA, highlighting its blend of functionality and style. The vehicle features an evolved A-shape grille with a fully illuminated star panel, a first for a Mercedes-Benz production vehicle. The CLA hybrid showcases a unique radiator grille with a Mercedes-Benz star pattern in chrome, surrounded by a standard LED surround.

In collaboration with will.i.am, Mercedes-Benz introduces FYI RAiDiO, an AI-powered audio platform offering a customized in-car experience with 16 interactive STAiTiONS. The platform features AI hosts that can be personalized based on user queries.
The next-generation CLA is expected to debut in Fall 2025. With its innovative technology, luxurious design, and enhanced user experience, the new CLA represents a significant step forward in Mercedes-Benz’s vehicle lineup.
