Carlos Lundy was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle northbound on State Road 13 when he rear-ended a Chevy 2500 pickup truck stopped at the intersection with Backwater Road, waiting to make a left turn. The crash, which happened just after 3 p.m., resulted in Lundy’s death at the scene. The 19-year-old driver of the pickup truck, a North Webster resident, was unharmed.
