SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck has occurred just south of downtown South Bend, leaving one person hospitalized. The incident took place on Chapin Street near the Community Food Pantry of St. Joseph County/Food Bank of Northern Indiana, shortly before 8 a.m.
According to officials, one individual was taken to the hospital, though it’s currently unclear whether they were the motorcyclist, the pickup truck driver, or a passenger. The severity of their injuries also remains unknown.
