CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A motorcyclist was transported to the hospital Friday night following a collision with a pickup truck in Clovis, the Clovis Police Department reported.
Officers responded to a call reporting a traffic collision just before 9 p.m. near the intersection of Ashlan and Villa avenues. Authorities determined that at least three motorcyclists were traveling west on Ashlan Avenue when one of the riders, a male, collided with a pickup truck.
The motorcyclist sustained major injuries in the crash and was taken to a local hospital. His current condition is unknown. Authorities have closed westbound Ashlan Avenue at Minnewawa Avenue while the investigation continues.
