Mt. Juliet Motorcyclist Killed in Hermitage Crash with Pickup Truck
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A motorcyclist from Mt. Juliet was killed after colliding with a pickup truck in Hermitage. The collision occurred on Friday night in the 4400 block of Lebanon Pike when a motorcycle crashed into the rear of the driver’s side of a truck that had just pulled out of a Walmart parking lot, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
The victim, identified as 47-year-old Jeremy Whitaker, died at the hospital. Neither occupant of the truck was injured in the crash. Metro Nashville Police are investigating whether speed was a factor on the part of the motorcycle.

The incident highlights the importance of road safety and the need for cautious driving, especially at night or in areas with heavy traffic.
