Key Specifications of the Slate Truck
The Slate truck is a compact, two-door regular cab pickup with seating for two. It features a 5-foot cargo bed with a volume of 37 cu-ft, exceeding the Ford Maverick’s bed volume by 3.7 cu-ft. The truck is equipped with a single 201 horsepower electric motor integrated into a De Dion axle rear suspension and comes only with rear-wheel drive. It weighs approximately 3,600 lbs and has a maximum payload capacity of 1,433 lbs, comparable to the Ford Maverick.

Slate Auto plans to produce the Blank Slate truck in the United States, with production expected to begin in late 2026 or early 2027. The vehicle is designed for city commuting and working, rather than cross-country travel.
