Chinese car manufacturer BYD recently announced a breakthrough in electric vehicle charging technology. Their new ultra-fast charger, known as the Super E-Platform, can reportedly recharge EV batteries in approximately the same time it takes to fill a gasoline tank.
While this development is positive news for electric car owners, these chargers are currently only available in China. International availability is not expected in the immediate future.
