New Video Shows Aftermath of Fatal Angie Stone Crash
New video footage obtained by TMZ offers a stark look at the wreckage following the deadly collision involving Grammy-nominated singer Angie Stone. The crash occurred in Alabama, claiming Stone’s life.
The video captures the immediate aftermath of the incident. Stone’s vehicle, a Mercedes Sprinter van, was struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 65 in Montgomery County. The van was carrying Stone and eight members of her backup band.

A witness who drove past the scene recorded a 19-second clip. It begins with a view of the damaged white Freightliner Cascadia truck, which was stopped on the shoulder of the highway. The witness stated the truck appeared to be involved in the crash. Police have yet to confirm this.
The video reveals the truck’s positioning, as if it had been traveling in the wrong direction. Mud and debris mark the highway where the collision occurred. The clip then shows Stone’s van, overturned at the side of the road.

Authorities have reported that Stone, the sole passenger in the van, died at the scene. The other eight occupants were injured and subsequently hospitalized. The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
According to her representative, Stone and her crew were en route to a performance in Baltimore, Maryland, following a previous show in Montgomery at the time of the accident.
Angie Stone was 63 years old. She will be remembered for her contributions to music, including as a member of the hip hop group The Sequence, as well as her successful solo career.
