Correction Officers Strike Amidst Agreement
COXSACKIE, N.Y. — While Governor Kathy Hochul announced an agreement between the state and the union representing correctional workers, some correction officers at Coxsackie Correctional Facility and other prisons across the state were still on strike Saturday. This follows a period of ongoing negotiations and tensions between the state and the union.
