LONGVIEW, Texas – A pedestrian died Tuesday night in Longview after a pickup truck struck them, according to the Longview Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene around 9:14 p.m. in the 200 block of West Loop 281. Initial investigation indicates that the man was crossing the roadway “at an improper location” when the eastbound truck hit him.
Authorities transported the pedestrian to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
