LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) — A pedestrian died Tuesday night after being struck by a pickup truck in Longview, the Longview Police Department reported.
Officers responded to the scene around 9:14 p.m. in the 200 block of West Loop 281. Preliminary investigations suggest the man was crossing the road “at an improper location” when he was hit by the eastbound pickup truck, according to authorities.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The Longview Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
