Peugeot is entering the sporty van market with its newly unveiled Expert Sport. This model is designed to rival the Ford Transit MS-RT and Vauxhall Vivaro GS, which is another vehicle from the Stellantis family.

Visually, the Expert Sport van immediately makes a statement. It features a distinctive bodykit, which includes a reshaped rear bumper, side skirts, and a bold front lip spoiler. The van also boasts 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with Nankang tires.
Adding to its unique aesthetic, the Expert Sport showcases a ‘Kryptonite livery,’ which takes inspiration from the color scheme of Peugeot’s 9X8 Le Mans racer. This includes bright green accents on the larger rear roof spoiler, ‘Sport’ badging on the back door, eye-catching tabs within the redesigned grille, and distinctive decals along the sides. Customers can choose from two paint finishes, Ice White and Titanium Grey, available on both the Panel Van and Crew Van bodystyles.
The interior receives a sporty upgrade as well. The perforated eco-leather seats feature ‘Sport’ indents and are adorned with bright green stitching. Peugeot emphasizes the seats’ durability, using a tear-resistant, water-repelling material ideal for demanding work environments. Based on the ‘Asphalt’ trim level, the Expert Sport includes a ‘Comfort Pack’ that adds luxuries like dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, wireless smartphone charging, a heated leather steering wheel, and a heated driver’s seat. Standard features include front and rear park assist, blind-spot detection, LED headlights, a 10-inch touchscreen with integrated sat-nav, and Peugeot’s ‘OK Peugeot’ voice-assistant system.
The Expert Sport is available with either diesel or all-electric powertrains. The diesel options range from 1.5-litre and 2.0-litre engines. The most powerful is a 178bhp 2.0-litre BlueHDi, priced from £41,295 in Panel Van guise and £43,995 for the Crew Van, both excluding VAT. The E-Expert Sport Panel Van starts at £51,845, while the Crew Van is priced from £54,545 (also before VAT).

Charging capabilities remain consistent, with a 100kW charger providing an 80 percent charge in 45 minutes for the 75kWh battery. Due to the bodykit and sporty tires, the electric version’s range is slightly reduced, from 217 miles in the standard E-Expert to 209.
