A pickup truck crashed on Interstate 15, spilling debris and causing the driver to be hospitalized, according to the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP).
The accident occurred Thursday at 1:45 p.m. on the on-ramp near mile marker 279, said Lt. Cameron Roden of the UHP. The pickup truck, which was carrying decking material, collided with a barrier, and the impact caused the load to spill onto the roadway.
The driver was transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from moderate to serious. The crash involved only the single vehicle, and no other drivers were involved.
