CARMEL, Ind. — Authorities responded to a collision early Saturday morning in Carmel, Indiana, after a pickup truck crashed into Salon Suites of West Carmel. The incident resulted in at least one person being injured.
The crash occurred shortly before 9 a.m. on March 22 at the salon, located in the 10300 block of Commerce Drive, near the intersection of North Michigan Road and 106th Street. A 13News crew at the scene observed that a small tree had been uprooted, and the truck had crashed through multiple windows, extending halfway into the building.
Police reported that an individual from the vehicle was transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries remains unknown. Fortunately, no one inside the building was hurt.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. However, police have indicated that they do not suspect any criminal activity was involved.
