McCracken County sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash on Tuesday morning when a pickup truck partially embedded itself into the Regions Bank building in Southside Paducah. The incident occurred around 11:11 a.m., involving a 2018 Ford F-150. The driver, Margarett Ferrell of Paducah, was uninjured and unhurt, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies believe Ferrell lost control of the vehicle while backing up and struck the building. The sheriff’s office stated that everyone inside the building was safe and secure. Regions Bank provided a statement expressing gratitude for quick action from first responders and their customers and colleagues who were okay with the situation. The incident is being investigated, and authorities are working to minimize impacts on daily operations. The Reidlawn Farley Fire Department and Mercy Regional Ambulance Service also responded to the scene.
