ROCKLAND — A dramatic incident unfolded on Main Street in Rockland on Friday evening, May 2, when a pickup truck lost control and crashed into a house. The accident occurred at approximately 7 p.m., with the Ford Ranger truck veering off the road and striking the front of 108 Main St. Fortunately, the truck narrowly missed hitting a motorcyclist and another vehicle.
The impact caused significant damage to both the house and the front end of the truck. The driver of the pickup truck, identified as Bambie Park of Rockland, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was under the influence at the time of the crash, according to authorities. Sgt. Josh Lemoi of the Rockland Police Department provided details about the incident.
