Pininfarina Bids Farewell to the Battista Hypercar Era
Pininfarina is bringing its groundbreaking Battista hypercar era to a close with the unveiling of the final bespoke version: the Battista Novantacinque. This one-off tribute honors 95 years of Italian automotive artistry since the company’s founding in 1930 by Battista “Pinin” Farina.
The Novantacinque made its debut at an exhibition in Turin, showcasing a blend of heritage and futuristic performance. The hypercar features a unique Exposed Signature Carbon Tinted Rosso Gloss finish with a gold pinstripe and elegant script on the rear wing. The design is complemented by matching black wheels and brake calipers, creating a theme of understated luxury. The interior boasts a rich combination of leather and Alcantara with exclusive black and gold accents, while even the floor mats and aluminum rotary controls are bespoke.
Underneath its stunning design, the Novantacinque packs relentless performance. It features four electric motors delivering 1,900 horsepower, enabling it to launch from 0–60 mph in just 1.8 seconds. Despite its 5,247-pound curb weight, it reaches a top speed of 217 mph, making it one of the most powerful EVs ever made.
Only 150 Battistas are being built, each priced at over $2 million. While Pininfarina has left room for potential future unveilings, the Novantacinque is expected to be the final bespoke model, serving as a capstone to a new era of luxury electrification. For collectors and enthusiasts, it may become the definitive expression of Pininfarina’s modern legacy.
