Police officers maintained a presence on a Southwell, Nottinghamshire street throughout the weekend of March 2nd.
A police car and a Tactical Support Group (TSG) van were observed on Lower Kirklington Road in Southwell. Forensics officers, dressed in white protective suits, were seen entering and exiting a house along the road between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. Multiple sources suggest that officers have been in the area since late Friday evening, February 28th.
One anonymous source stated, “A house in Southwell has had the police in attendance since 11 p.m. on Friday. Police have been guarding the front and back door with two officers, and today (Sunday) another police car and a tactical support van have arrived.”
A Nottinghamshire Live reporter visited the site on Sunday afternoon and was informed by another individual that officers had been present since Friday.
Nottinghamshire Police have been contacted for comment regarding the incident. TSG vans are utilized to provide support to officers during ongoing investigations.
