Porsche Experience Centre Toronto Set to Open
The long-awaited Porsche Experience Centre Toronto is finally opening its doors to the public this Wednesday on the Durham Live grounds in Pickering. As the world’s tenth global experience centre for the iconic car brand, it promises to deliver an unparalleled driving experience.
The centre features a two-kilometre driver development handling circuit inspired by famous racetrack sections such as Laguna Seca’s corkscrew and the Nürburgring’s Carousel. Visitors can enjoy four instructor-led driving modules designed to showcase the engineering and capabilities of Porsche models. These include a dynamics area, low-friction handling circuit, and a low-friction drift circle.
Beyond the driving experiences, the centre boasts a fitting lounge where visitors can customize their dream Porsche. Soon, guests will be able to reserve time in a dedicated space with five cutting-edge driving simulators, allowing them to race virtually on tracks from around the world.
The facility is designed with sustainability in mind, featuring a geothermal heating and cooling system and photovoltaic roof panels that will provide approximately 20% of the building’s electricity. The exterior landscape is framed by LÜMEN, a large-scale public artwork commissioned by Porsche Cars Canada, which represents the Porsche ethos through precision engineering and poetic symbolism.

Visitors can enjoy culinary creations at the Carrera Café, browse the Porsche Lifestyle Shop, or take part in guided driving experiences starting from $140 for demo laps and $850 for 90-minute experiences. Eligible new Porsche vehicle owners will receive an invitation for a 90-minute session at the facility.
