PT Sokoindo Automobile, the Indonesian representative of Chinese automotive brands DFSK and Seres, participated in the prestigious 2025 PEVS event. This participation underscores the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility and its active role in shaping Indonesia’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
Alexander Barus, CEO of PT Sokoindo Automobile, stated that the company’s presence at PEVS was aimed at strengthening its position as a comprehensive automotive brand, effectively catering to various market segments. “Through DFSK, which offers robust commercial vehicles, and Seres, with its innovative mobility solutions, we are committed to contributing to the automotive industry in Indonesia,” he said.
The company’s commitment is further reinforced by its established manufacturing facilities in Indonesia. At the event, Seres unveiled the Seres 3, an electric car designed for urban professionals. “We understand the needs of modern urban and professional individuals who seek electric vehicles that align with their environmental values and complement their dynamic lifestyles,” Barus added.
The Seres 3 boasts a 54 kWh battery capacity, enabling it to travel 412 km on a single charge according to NEDC standards. It can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 40 minutes. The SUV is available in three color options: black, gray, and white/red. The price range for the Seres 3 is Rp370-398 million OTR Jakarta, with a booking fee of Rp1 million.
