Qatar Driving Academy Provides Luxury Driving Lessons
A driving school in Qatar is providing exclusive driving lessons in a Rolls-Royce Ghost, a vehicle with a price tag of around $300,000. These lessons are specifically aimed at millionaires who want to learn to drive, but don’t want to drive a ‘regular’ car.
The lessons are provided by the Doha Driving Academy and allow wealthy individuals to skip driving more ‘mundane’ vehicles, like a Toyota Corolla or a Chevrolet Malibu, and immediately learn in a luxury car.
While lessons in a Rolls-Royce Ghost are available, the academy offers a range of other programs. The price for lessons in a Corolla is $1,000, and $3,000 for lessons in a Porsche Cayenne SUV.
Although prices for the Rolls-Royce Ghost driving lessons are unavailable, it is estimated that lessons could cost as much as $20,000. The academy features slightly older 2015 Ghost models.
Despite the high cost, students get their money’s worth with the Rolls-Royce lessons with at least 40 practical lessons in the cars, as well as several road theory sessions.
Rolls-Royce is especially popular in Qatar, making the Doha Academy’s offering of lessons in them a logical business decision. When the 2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost was first released, the luxury car had a starting price of approximately $285,000. According to Classic.com, used models can be purchased for under $100,000.
