The Raptee T30, an electric motorcycle from the Indian startup Raptee, has received ARAI certification, marking it as the first electric two-wheeler in India to utilize high-voltage technology. This technology enables the bike’s compatibility with CCS2 DC fast-charging standards, a feature typically found in electric cars.

The high-voltage system offers several advantages beyond CCS2 charging, including faster charging times, a more powerful on-board charger, and a lighter external charging cable.
The Raptee T30 was launched last year with a starting price of ₹2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has reported over 8,000 registrations for the electric bike and plans to begin retail sales in Chennai and Bangalore. Deliveries are expected to commence in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year.
Raptee aims to expand its presence across major Indian cities in its first year. In addition to retail experience centers, the company has established a “Tech store.HV” factory-integrated experience center at its headquarters in Chennai. The center offers customers immersive experiences, including factory tours. Furthermore, the company plans to offer a range of direct-to-consumer (D2C) services.
The Raptee T30 boasts a claimed IDC range of 200 kilometers, with the company estimating a real-world range of 150 kilometers on a single charge. It is equipped with an IP67-rated battery pack and comes with a standard eight-year or 80,000-kilometer battery warranty. The bike features LED headlights and taillights with LED DRLs, disc brakes at both ends, and a digital instrument cluster running a custom operating system based on an automotive-grade Linux platform.
