Suzuki, Daihatsu, and Toyota to Launch Mini-Commercial Van Electric Vehicles in 2025
Tokyo, January 29, 2025 – Suzuki Motor Corporation, Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Toyota Motor Corporation have jointly announced their intention to release mini-commercial van electric vehicles (BEVs) in fiscal year 2025. The collaborative project combines the expertise of Suzuki and Daihatsu in small-car manufacturing with Toyota’s electrification technology.
This initiative, involving Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies Corporation for optimized last-mile logistics, aims to provide a practical and sustainable transport solution for the delivery industry. The three companies are committed to advancing carbon neutrality through these BEVs.
