Mercedes-Benz is set to launch a new generation of electric vans based on the Van Electric Architecture (Van.EA) in 2026, expanding its presence across multiple van sizes. The automaker will also introduce a Van Combustion Architecture (Van.CA) for gasoline-powered vans, with both architectures sharing significant component commonalities for enhanced economies of scale.

Mercedes-Benz is modifying its electric-only van plans, introducing internal combustion engine (ICE) variants of its next-generation vans alongside electric models.
