TDP Leadership Issues Strict Guidelines on Luxury
The leadership of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has reportedly issued an order to its members, emphasizing the need to avoid displays of luxury. Sources indicate that party leaders have been explicitly instructed to refrain from using high-end vehicles. More specifically, they are advised against driving luxury cars such as Range Rovers between their constituencies and the cities of Vijayawada and Amaravati.

The party leadership has stated that indulging in excessive luxury will create a negative perception among the public, and such behavior will not be tolerated. They have suggested the use of more common vehicles, such as Innovas and Fortuners, as an acceptable alternative. The primary concern is to avoid the use of excessively expensive vehicles.
This directive comes at a time when many politicians, regardless of party affiliation, already own luxury vehicles. While senior politicians may not always be the primary drivers of these purchases, their children often show a keen interest in such vehicles. Due to close connections with the city, young political leaders, especially those linked to Hyderabad, have shown a particular interest in the newest and most high-end cars, and they are often seen using them on Hyderabad roads.
