The 2025 Little River Earth Fest at Little River Canyon Center in Fort Payne will offer members of the public the chance to test drive electric vehicles (EVs) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Donohoo Chevrolet is partnering with the Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition and Drive Electric Alabama to showcase a variety of EVs at the event. The dealership will display Chevy’s EV lineup, featuring crossovers, SUVs, and full-sized pick-up trucks, all available for free test drives.
“The fact that most Alabamians have never experienced driving an electric vehicle makes this opportunity particularly special,” said Michael Staley, President of the Alabama Clean Fuels Coalition. “People can get behind the wheel and gain first-hand experience with an EV for the first time. Nothing beats real-world experience.”
To test drive an EV, attendees must provide a valid insurance card for a vehicle they own and a driver’s license. Electronic insurance cards displayed on a cell phone app are accepted.
“Our brand performance, combined with strong incentive programs, has resulted in many first-time EV owners leaving our dealership satisfied,” said Pete Donohoo, co-owner of Donohoo Chevrolet. “We’re pleased to participate in the Little River Earth Fest and give interested individuals the chance to evaluate how an EV can be a fun, cost-effective option that meets their transportation and budget needs.”
Members of Drive Electric Alabama chapters will also be on hand to display a wide range of EV makes and models. The Little River Earth Fest is free and open to the public.
