    The Manufacturers

It’s wild what a difference a few years can make. Back in 2018, Tesla dominated the top 10 most expensive American EVs, but today none of its models make the cut. Instead, competing brands now fill the list.

The Acura NSX was once the most expensive car built in the U.S., priced around $160,000. Now, that price would put it in 8th place on our list. The current number one costs more than double that amount.

The takeaway? America is now producing some of the world’s most expensive cars, benefiting manufacturing plant workers and the country as a whole.
