On Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, the Raesr Tachyon Speed, an all-electric hypercar, recently turned heads, drawing a crowd of onlookers eager to capture its futuristic design. The eye-catching vehicle features a distinctive design, combining cutting-edge technology with aesthetic appeal. One online video, captured by SB Xtra (@supercarblondie.xtra) on TikTok, showcases the vehicle’s dramatic entrance as the jet-fighter-style canopy opens to reveal its interior.
Inside, drivers descend into the cockpit, echoing the experience of entering a fighter jet. The tandem passenger seat, located behind the driver, is enclosed by its own canopy. “I’ve never seen a car get more attention than this,” the driver remarks in the video content, highlighting the car’s impressive ability to capture attention. The car’s design, with its low, wide stance, advanced aerodynamics, and carbon-fiber body, resembles the Batmobile, and the cockpit evokes imagery from Top Gun.
According to the SB Xtra video, the driver noted that designers aimed for a fighter jet aesthetic on wheels. The car’s interior further showcases its forward-thinking design. Touchscreen panels control nearly all vehicle functions, including the drivetrain. The potential for cost savings is a significant benefit of electric vehicles, owners bypass expenses like fuel and maintenance associated with traditional combustion engines. EVs generally offer quieter operation and eliminate tailpipe emissions, promoting cleaner air.
EVs offer a compelling alternative to traditional vehicles, with environmental benefits that extend beyond reduced tailpipe emissions. Although the production of batteries and the charging process itself do have an environmental cost, it’s considerably less than that of vehicles using fossil fuels.
Cars with internal combustion engines generate an average of 350 grams of carbon air pollution per mile driven. In contrast, EVs using the average U.S. power grid have a value around 200, according to research from MIT. The SB Xtra driver also highlighted the car’s power, stating its batteries could “light up a small village for a few minutes.” These features underscore the Raesr Tachyon Speed’s blend of raw power and an environmentally conscious design. One user jokingly asked if its design partner, Bruce Wayne, the fictional vigilante Batman, approved of the look.

This fusion of innovation and environmental responsibility, as seen in cars like the Raesr Tachyon Speed, is a sign of things to come in the automotive industry.
