Middletown Township Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a group of thieves who stole a truckload of lawn equipment from Lawn Barn in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, last week. The theft occurred around 2:44 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11. Surveillance footage shared by Lawn Barn on their Facebook and YouTube pages shows three individuals wearing hooded sweatshirts and gloves loading Stihl chainsaws, leaf blowers, and other items into a pickup truck.
The video shows the loaded truck speeding away from the business on Woodbourne Road near Route 1 and SEPTA’s Woodbourne Regional Rail station. Lawn Barn has asked residents and businesses in the area to check their surveillance cameras, vehicle dashcams, or home doorbells for footage of the truck between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. on June 11. This footage could help police trace the vehicle’s route and determine its final destination.
According to Lawn Barn, the truck is a blue or gray Ford F-150, likely an older model between 1997 and 2004. The store is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Middletown Detective Wayne George at [email protected].
