If you’re in the market for a camper van, the options can seem endless. From Ford Transits to tricked-out Mercedes-Benz models, the market is saturated with choices. However, many of these vans blend into the background. That’s definitely not the case with this customized 1955 Alfa Romeo T10 Autotutto. This classic Italian van, originally registered in Sicily, has been transformed into a spacious and unique camper.

This particular T10 Autotutto is currently up for auction in Germany, and it’s sure to garner some attention. Yes, it’s an old Alfa Romeo, and that does raise some questions about reliability, but it’s hard to imagine a more intriguing camper van.
Powering this vintage camper is a two-stroke 1,158 cc inline-twin diesel engine that produces 31 hp. This engine is coupled with a Roots supercharger and a four-speed manual transmission, sending power to the front wheels. The engine’s placement, situated between the driver and passenger, adds to the van’s unique character. The previous owner resprayed the van in an eye-catching combination of olive green and cream that perfectly suits its vintage vibe.

The real standout feature here is the rear living space. It includes a small bench seat, a metal sink, a gas stovetop, cupboards, and curtains, all reminiscent of the 1950s. The roof has also been raised, providing ample headroom. While a dedicated bed isn’t present, the bench seat folds out and can serve this purpose. The front of the van features two dark green seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, a large central speedometer, and a couple of air vents.

The Autotutto rolls on matching 16-inch steel wheels, further enhancing its classic appeal. While this vintage camper might not be ideal for high-speed motorway travel, it is perfectly suited for exploring scenic European towns and winding valley roads.
