Best Trucks to Snag a Deal On This Year
Year-end sales are a prime opportunity for truck buyers to save big. With plenty of inventory still sitting on dealer lots, especially older models, shrewd shoppers can often negotiate significant discounts. Here’s a look at the five trucks most ripe for a deal.
1 Ram 1500
The Ram 1500 tops the list of trucks with considerable room for negotiation. With a market day supply 77% above average, and the 1500 Classic being discontinued in 2025, dealers are eager to move these units. There are currently 58,522 new Ram 1500s for sale, including a thousand 2023 models. Offers include 0.9% APR financing for 72 months, plus cash savings up to $6,500.
2 Jeep Gladiator
The Jeep Gladiator, boasting a market day supply 41% higher than the average, presents another opportunity. With 16,134 Gladiators available, including about one thousand older models, buyers can find compelling deals. Current offers feature 0% APR for 36 months plus $3,250 in cash discounts. This versatile mid-size truck is a great choice for off-road enthusiasts.
3 Nissan Titan
Despite being recognized as one of the less expensive full-size trucks, the Nissan Titan struggles to find buyers. The Titan is officially being discontinued next year. Because of this, the Titan is prime for negotiation, showing a market day supply 40% above average, holding 3,012 units. Attractive deals include 0% financing for 60 months, supplemented by cash discounts hitting $6,590.
4 GMC Sierra 1500
There is an oversupply of GMC Sierra 1500s, with 48,349 units still available, including around 750 older models. GMC is offering 0% financing for 36 months and cash discounts up to $5,000. Lease deals include the Sierra 1500 Crew Cab at $389 per month for 24 months, requiring $3,609 at signing.
5 Ford F-150 Lightning
The Ford F-150 Lightning presents a solid option, especially with a portion of the new inventory made up of remaining 2023 models. While its market day supply is below average, the leftovers present an opportunity for discounts. Electric trucks depreciate fast, so proceed with careful negotiation. Ford offers either 1.9% APR for 36 months, or buyers may lease the XLT Standard Range for $371 monthly, with $6,930 due at signing.
