Trio of Custom Pickups Headlines 2025 Spring Specialty Auto Auction
A trio of custom classic pickups, each boasting unique performance upgrades and exceptional craftsmanship, is set to be auctioned at the 2025 Spring Specialty Auto Auction on May 10 in Greeley, Colorado. The event is expected to attract collectors and enthusiasts eager to bid on these standout restomod trucks.
The featured vehicles include a 1967 Chevrolet C10 finished in Seafoam Green with a houndstooth interior. This short-bed pickup has undergone a comprehensive body-off restoration, featuring a coated chassis, relocated fuel tank with custom filler, and hand pinstriping. Under the hood lies a highly detailed 350ci V8 engine paired with an automatic transmission. Additional features include power steering, power brakes, custom wheels, and vintage air conditioning, making it a show-ready build.
Another highlight is a 1956 Ford F100, freshly restored with only 1,000 miles on the build. The all-steel body is finished in a custom silver paint mix, while the interior features gray upholstery, digital gauges, and modern amenities such as power locks, seats, and air conditioning. The truck is powered by a performance-built 302ci Ford V8 with Holley Sniper EFI, and includes upgrades like a rack and pinion steering system, QA1 shocks, four-wheel disc brakes, and a 9-inch Ford rear end. A new wood bed floor and coated frame demonstrate the attention to detail in this restoration.
The third featured vehicle is a 1957 Chevrolet 3100 big-window pickup, presented in blue with a matching interior. Powered by a 405ci Oldsmobile engine that has been bored, stroked, and balanced, the truck features custom headers, etched glass, Wilwood disc brakes, and an automatic transmission tailored to the powerplant. Despite being an older restoration, the craftsmanship remains impressive, with custom paint and pinstriping by renowned artists.
All three vehicles will be offered at the auction with no reserve, providing bidders with the opportunity to acquire these high-quality builds potentially below their original investment value. The 2025 Spring Specialty Auto Auction will take place on Saturday, May 10, in Greeley, Colorado.
