RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Two motorcyclists from Wyoming lost their lives in a tragic accident on Wednesday morning when their motorcycles were struck by a pickup truck on Wyoming State Highway 450.
The victims were identified as 74-year-old Ricky Lynch and 68-year-old Steve Layman, both residents of Gillette, Wyoming. According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 8 a.m. near mile marker 54 on Highway 450.
Lynch and Layman were traveling eastbound on their motorcycles when a westbound pickup truck crossed into their lane, resulting in a head-on collision. The Wyoming Highway Patrol reported that charges against the driver of the pickup truck are currently pending.
