GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WMBF) – A pickup truck crashed into an empty business adjacent to the Ball and Que restaurant on Highmarket Street in Georgetown on Wednesday afternoon. The Georgetown City Fire Department responded to the incident just before 3 p.m. Two individuals were injured, though their conditions are not considered serious. As a precautionary measure, one of the victims was airlifted from the scene. Upon arrival, firefighters found the pickup truck empty, leaving uncertainty about whether the injured parties were occupants of the vehicle.
