TUCSON, AZ – Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers arrested a U.S. citizen at the Douglas port of entry last Friday for alleged human smuggling.
According to CBP officials, the suspect attempted to transport four undocumented immigrants in the bed of a pickup truck. The individuals were subsequently deported back to Mexico.
Authorities have not yet released details regarding the charges the suspect is now facing.
