Valley Road Motors Owner Denies Luxury Car Theft Allegations
Francis Mundia Ng’ang’a, the proprietor of Valley Road Motors, has firmly denied allegations of stealing a high-end vehicle. Ng’ang’a, accompanied by his son Brandon, stated that the car was acquired through a middleman, Robert Bundi Mugaa, who claimed to be acting on behalf of the vehicle’s owner.
The transaction was conducted at their Valley Road Bazaar office, where they reached an agreement and paid a total of Ksh 4.1 million to Bundi. “We carried out due diligence on the vehicle, verified its ownership, and only then completed the transaction,” Ng’ang’a explained, emphasizing that funds were transferred to Bundi’s account after confirming all documents.

Ng’ang’a denied receiving any summons related to the case or attending court sessions over the vehicle. He became aware of the theft allegations through social media posts and concerned calls from clients and friends. Ng’ang’a claimed these posts were malicious and intended to damage his business’s reputation.
To protect their business, the car was returned to its rightful owner, Peter Munene Njoroge, after discovering Bundi’s deceit. “After we discovered Bundi had not been transparent, we immediately surrendered the car back to the owner,” Ng’ang’a said.
Robert Bundi Mugaa was previously arrested on April 15, 2025, by Kilimani police for the theft of a Sh33 million Range Rover from Alvis Motors on Ngong Road. The complainant, Adeel Rashid Mohamed, stated that Mugaa had expressed interest in the luxury vehicle and was allowed to test-drive it.

Ng’ang’a questioned the jurisdiction of the case, arguing it was reported in a different area from where the sale took place. The incident highlights the risks associated with fraudulent middlemen in high-value transactions.
