An exploration of why minivans, despite their practicality, have become the symbol of uncoolness in America. It examines the rise of the SUV and the cultural perception of family vehicles.

This paper introduces and analyzes the multi-depot routing problem with van-based driverless vehicles (MDRP-VBDV), a delivery system designed to improve efficiency through the coordination of vans and driverless vehicles. The study develops a mixed-integer programming model and a heuristic algorithm to solve the MDRP-VBDV, considering factors such as time windows, capacity constraints, and travel times. The research also explores the impact of key parameters on the scheduling plans.
