The Virginia State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a pickup truck involved in a road rage incident on I-95 in Spotsylvania County. On Friday, June 20, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a Tesla was shot multiple times during a confrontation with a dark-colored pickup truck, possibly a black Toyota Tacoma, in the southbound lanes near the 122-mile marker.
The suspected truck was later spotted at the 121-mile marker heading south at around 2:18 p.m. State police released a photo of the vehicle on Saturday, showing it with a black bed liner and a white item in the back. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with dashcam footage or information about the incident to contact Division II Dispatch at 804-750-8778. The Virginia State Police are working to gather more information to resolve the case.
