Volkswagen has expanded its Transporter line-up with two new battery electric variants: the eight-seater Shuttle and the ultra-flexible Kombi van. Both models now feature an all-electric powertrain, with prices starting at £53,404.
The new BEV Shuttle and Kombi models join the existing all-electric Panel Van variant, as well as the TDI versions of the Panel Van, Kombi, and Shuttle variants, which recently opened for orders. This expanded range gives customers the flexibility to choose the right power option for their needs.
The BEV Transporter Kombi, available from £53,404, comes in short or long wheelbase configurations. It offers ample space for equipment and seats five people as standard, with the option to add a sixth seat. The Kombi has a payload capacity of up to 896 kg and is powered by a 65kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a range of up to 196 miles on pure electric power.
The BEV Transporter Shuttle is also available in short or long wheelbase versions and can seat eight people as standard, with the option to add a ninth seat. Prices for the Shuttle start at £56,129, and it has a range of up to 194 miles on pure electric power.
To support the new models, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is offering attractive finance deals across the Transporter line-up. For example, the Kombi Commerce Plus SWB 136ps Electric is available on a Solutions Personal Contract Plan from £449 per month. The Shuttle Life SWB 136ps Electric starts at £589 per month on the same finance plan, with both offers including a £2,500 deposit contribution from Volkswagen Financial Services.
