This design contributes to a remarkably low drag coefficient of just 0.25 – the lowest in Volvo’s history – which significantly improves efficiency and extends driving range. Customers can personalize their ES90 by choosing from seven exterior colors and a range of wheel options from 20 to 22 inches.

Inside, the ES90 is crafted to prioritize occupant comfort and functionality. A long wheelbase of 3.1 meters provides generous legroom for all passengers, while authentic materials and a panoramic roof with 99.9% UV protection enhance the overall cabin experience. An advanced air purifier removes up to 95% of PM 2.5 particulates, ensuring a healthy and clean interior environment. The top-tier Bowers & Wilkins sound system features 25 speakers with Dolby Atmos® to deliver an immersive audio experience, complemented by the cabin’s exceptionally low noise levels – one of the quietest in any Volvo to date.
Safety and Technology
Safety remains a cornerstone of the ES90’s design, incorporating Volvo’s Safe Space Technology. The system includes a lidar sensor, five radars, seven cameras, and a driver-understanding system designed to proactively prevent accidents. Additional features such as occupant sensing ensure no one is left behind. The car’s 800V technology supports incredibly fast charging, adding 300 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes at 350kW stations. The ES90 boasts a total range of up to 700 kilometers (WLTP). Built on the SPA2 architecture, the ES90 will evolve over time through over-the-air updates, constantly improving performance and safety throughout its lifecycle.
