A Welsh rugby star is seeking help after his luxury vehicle was stolen from a supermarket car park in south Wales. Dragons player Jared Rosser, 27, discovered his blacked-out Range Rover missing after shopping at Aldi in Cwmbran around midday on April 22. The theft was confirmed through store CCTV, showing that Rosser’s car keys were taken while he was inside the store.
Gwent Police are now appealing for information to identify two individuals who may be able to assist with their inquiries. A man and woman who were in the store at the time of the theft are believed to hold crucial information. The police have urged anyone who recognizes these individuals or has details about the stolen car to come forward via their website, phone, or social media, referencing log number 2500126039.
Rosser, a familiar face for the men of Gwent, took to Instagram to ask the public to report any sightings of his vehicle, which carries the registration OY69 ORS. The stolen vehicle is a significant loss for Rosser, who recently renewed his contract with the Dragons after a strong season. “I’m really happy to have signed again with Dragons,” he said, expressing his affection for the club. “It’s a place that I love turning up to every day. Being here for so long already, it’s a place I’ve made some of my closest friends and working with my brother is a privilege. I’m excited to finish the season strong and take some momentum into a big season next year.”
The police investigation is ongoing, with officers eager to speak with the individuals captured on store CCTV. Anyone with information about the theft or the whereabouts of Rosser’s vehicle is encouraged to contact Gwent Police.
