Dodge has shared exciting details about the 2026 Charger Daytona at this year’s Midwest Automotive Media Association Spring Rally. While the gas-powered version, known as the Charger Sixpack, will have to wait until the second half of the year for its reveal, the automaker has already given us a glimpse into what’s coming next.
One of the key highlights of the 2026 Chargers is that they will come with more high-performance functionality enabled right from the start. Both the two-door and four-door models will be delivered with their full horsepower unlocked, marking a significant improvement over previous models.
Dodge has confirmed that its Track Package will be available for both versions of the Charger Daytona. This package includes several impressive features, such as:
- Drive Experience Recorder
- Brembo brakes on both front (six-piston) and rear (four-piston) wheels
- A black spoiler

Dodge CEO Matt McAlear emphasized the design team’s efforts, stating, “It’s a real testament to the Dodge design and engineering teams that apart from two additional doors, the Dodge Charger Daytona sedan embodies the same look and feel as the coupe, with the same widebody exterior, driver-centric interior, muscle car performance and standard all-wheel-drive capability, combined with four-door practicality.”
These new developments seem to be a refinement of Dodge’s earlier offerings, as noted by Wesley Wren in an AutoWeek article. The automaker is on an ambitious mission to convince muscle car enthusiasts to embrace electric vehicles (EVs), and this news appears to be part of that sales pitch.
As the automotive world waits with bated breath, one can’t help but wonder what other surprises Dodge has in store for us. Will the rumored return of the Hemi V8 engine materialize? Only time will tell.
