The victim suffered serious cuts, burns, and grazes to her head, face, and body. Fortunately, a passing motorist stopped to assist her after she was thrown from the vehicle. Police believe the victim and driver knew each other. The van was described as small and grey, possibly appearing like a car, and was seen moving erratically at high speeds on Pembury Road.
