The victim suffered serious cuts, burns, and grazes to her head, face, and body. Fortunately, a passing motorist stopped to assist her after she was thrown from the vehicle. Police believe the victim and driver knew each other. The van was described as small and grey, possibly appearing like a car, and was seen moving erratically at high speeds on Pembury Road. Detective Constable Tom Bale of Kent Police is leading the investigation and is appealing for witnesses to come forward. Drivers are asked to check their dashcams, and locals are requested to review their CCTV footage for any relevant information. The suspect remains at large.
