Grafton, MA – A woman died after being hit by a pickup truck on Worcester Street in Grafton on Friday, the Worcester County District Attorney’s office confirmed.
Police responded to the scene of the crash on Worcester Street at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Friday evening. Emergency medical services personnel transported the woman to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. However, she succumbed to her injuries, according to Lindsay Corcoran, a spokesperson for the district attorney’s office. The identity of the woman is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing. The Grafton Police Department and the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council are actively involved in the investigation, Corcoran stated in an email.
