A woman was killed Thursday night when she was struck by a pickup truck in downtown Olathe. The Olathe Police Department responded to the scene at East Santa Fe Street and North Blake Street around 9:12 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found the woman unresponsive in the street. Despite life-saving measures at the scene, paramedics later pronounced her dead. The driver of the pickup truck is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The victim has been identified as Jill E. Turner from Indiana.
