Woman Dies in Wabash County School Bus Crash
WABASH, Ind. (WSBT) — A woman died in a traffic accident in Wabash County involving a school bus and a pickup truck. The incident occurred when the school bus pulled out in front of a pickup truck.
Five children on the bus were injured, one seriously, and had to be airlifted from the scene. The crash took place on County Road 700 East when the bus pulled into the path of a pickup truck attempting to cross US 24.
The driver of the pickup truck, the deceased woman, was killed in the collision. A passenger in the pickup sustained serious injuries but survived the crash. The school bus was from Wabash City Schools.
