A serious collision occurred on Friday, May 30, 2025, at approximately 3 p.m. at the intersection of Factory and LeMoyne avenues in Salina, New York. A pickup truck driven by 67-year-old Rickey Belcamino of Syracuse ran a red light, hitting a motorcycle carrying two people. The impact threw 23-year-old passenger Rebecca Woodcock from the motorcycle into a stopped 2018 Dodge SUV. Woodcock was rushed to Upstate University Hospital where she was treated for her injuries. The driver of the motorcycle, 35-year-old Michael Lembo of Syracuse, was not reported to be injured. Belcamino was issued a ticket for failure to obey a traffic control device. As of Friday night, state police had not released an update on Woodcock’s condition. The incident is under investigation by state police.
