Woman Struck by Pickup in Hit-and-Run Collision, Suspect at Large
A woman was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in an apparent hit-and-run on the North Side of San Antonio.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Friday at the intersection of West Avenue and Dresden Drive. According to the San Antonio Police Department, the woman was legally using the crosswalk when a tan pickup truck turning south onto West Avenue from Dresden Drive struck her and fled the scene without stopping to help.
EMS transported the victim with non-life-threatening injuries, and she is currently in stable condition. SAPD continues investigating and urges anyone with information about the suspect vehicle or its driver to contact authorities.
